Romanced by the renaissance-era of her mother’s German hometown, the Marie-Antoinette gardens of France, the rising crescendo of Italian midnight opera, and the dusty roads and sparkling seas of Spanish siesta, Christa fell in love with language, lineage and beautiful things during her summers abroad. She wanted to help others preserve the splendor of memories.

Inspired by the symmetry of old homes, the romance of vintage wallpapered rooms, and the gilded edges of antique books - Christa lends that eye for rarity to her work, helping clients to design the story of their wedding, to be shared with those they love the most.

The team chose to set up shop in an 1830’s antique general store that Christa purchased and is restoring – a place where memories rustle behind the red brick walls. The Brick Store can be found in Vermont; a destination of sweet summers and slumbering winters beside the fire. A place where small stunning moments are treasured; a snort of aged oak whiskey, a walk in the wildflowers, and the serenity of milky starlit nights.

While the bricks and mortar may be in Vermont, most of Christa’s clients are based in New York and Boston and she schedules meetings in the city at their request. Christa adores the change of pace; the rhythm of crowded restaurants, the crack of champagne, and the lilt of different languages all beneath the glittering lights.
